Cloud Network Connectivity
Connect Cisco and Meraki estates to public cloud networks, with routing, virtual appliances and provider responsibilities designed as one end-to-end service.

response time
Average response is not a resolution time or a contractual guarantee. Support scope and response commitments are agreed for each engagement.
Cloud network connectivity gives sites and users controlled paths to hosted systems. We plan Cisco and Meraki routes, addresses, gateways and support ownership, including the return path. Private links and recovery need their own design. The scope covers the network connection rather than assuming responsibility for all apps or hosting on the other side.
The whole path
Understand how sites, providers, cloud networks and security controls fit together.
Resilience that can be tested
Separate a second circuit from genuine end-to-end service resilience.
Provider coordination
Keep addressing, routing and escalation ownership clear across organisations.
Map the applications and traffic relationships
We find the on-premises sites, cloud networks and apps that must communicate. The map includes shared services, admin access and external counterparties where relevant. A workload may need several supporting destinations beyond its main client connection, and those dependencies influence both routing and security policy.
The scope distinguishes network responsibility from app and cloud-platform administration. MCI can coordinate with those teams, but ownership of workload permissions, operating systems and data protection remains clear. This prevents a network access proposal from implying that every problem in the hosted app becomes part of the network service.

Choose the connection model deliberately
Internet VPNs, private network access services and supported virtual appliances offer different characteristics. We compare them against capacity, latency, availability and support needs. A private connection may avoid the ordinary public internet path without automatically encrypting all traffic; encryption needs its own supported design and verification.
Provider and cloud costs are considered separately from engineering work. Port capacity, gateways, virtual appliances, licences and data transfer can have different charging models. We find the assumptions needed for a useful estimate rather than presenting a generic monthly figure as the cost of every cloud-network rollout.

Bring the requirement. We will help you define the engineering work.
Build an addressing and routing plan
Cloud networks, office subnets and partner connections must have a coherent addressing model. Overlapping private ranges can make a connection unusable or require deliberate translation and routing arrangements. We identify conflicts before rollout, including those hidden in acquired networks or temporary test setups.
The route plan covers both directions and the propagation boundaries between sites and cloud services. Default routes, more-specific prefixes and shared gateways are reviewed for unintended reachability. A tunnel being established or a BGP session being up does not show that the correct workloads have learned the intended path.
Different environments. The same care.

Data centre networks ↗Align cloud and on-premises security controls
Traffic may cross cloud-native rules, virtual appliances and on-premises firewalls. We check which control is responsible for each boundary and how the rules interact. A connection permitted by one security layer may still fail at another, while an alternative route may bypass the inspection point everyone expects to use.
Administrative access is considered separately from app traffic. Cloud APIs and network-management permissions can alter routing across important services, so their ownership and scope matter. We avoid broad permanent credentials for automation when the supported workflow can operate with a more appropriate permission set.
Design resilience across independent dependencies
Availability depends on circuits, cloud gateways, virtual appliances, regions or zones and the apps themselves. We examine those dependencies rather than counting tunnels alone. Two paths can share an underlying provider or terminate on one unavailable appliance, leaving less resilience than the diagram suggests.
The degraded-state design includes capacity and route behaviour. A backup internet VPN may restore network access but not match the throughput of a private circuit. We agree which workloads remain essential and test how the network and app respond to both loss and restoration of the preferred path.
Validate with real workloads and controlled tests
Acceptance checks include addressing, route exchange, DNS and representative app workflows. We test from the relevant endpoints and inspect the return path, particularly where stateful firewalls or translation are involved. A successful test from a router is useful evidence but not a substitute for the user's actual transaction.
Changes are introduced with rollback criteria and access to the teams controlling both sides. Cloud routing can be altered quickly, which makes disciplined review more important rather than less. The test record identifies any scenario that could not be exercised safely and any dependency awaiting another team's confirmation.
Leave clear ownership for ongoing operation
The handover connects cloud resources, network routes, security boundaries and provider contacts. Monitoring should distinguish a circuit problem from an appliance, cloud-route or app issue. Lifecycle duties include software updates, certificates, subscriptions and removal of temporary resources after migration.
MCI can assess a new connection or review a current hybrid cloud routing design that has become difficult to operate. Share the sites, cloud platforms and required traffic flows. We can define a networking scope that is supported, testable and clear about the services it connects, without implying that network access alone delivers complete cloud security or app recovery.
