response time
Average response is not a resolution time or a contractual guarantee. Support scope and response commitments are agreed for each engagement.
Catalyst Center deployment puts a powerful management system in charge of parts of your network. We plan its host platform, access rights, first devices and recovery steps before setup begins. The work ends with checks that your team can use it safely for the agreed tasks, with clear ownership of future changes.
Cisco-focused engineering
Design around the platform, traffic and failure behaviour you actually operate.
Change with evidence
Use pre-checks, acceptance criteria and a documented route back.
Operational handover
Keep the configuration, diagrams and responsibilities understandable after delivery.
Define the first deployment outcomes
We agree what the initial release must achieve. This may be inventory, a pilot setup workflow, software-image management, assurance or preparation for SD-Access. Each outcome has prerequisites and acceptance criteria. Limiting the first stage to useful, testable functions is often safer than enabling a wide range of features without clear ownership.
The scope also identifies the intended estate and future growth. Device types, software, site count and telemetry needs affect the design. We review the relevant Cisco support and sizing information for the chosen rollout form. A lab installation or an appliance specification should not be assumed to meet a production need with materially different scale.

Prepare infrastructure before installation
We check the supported appliance or virtual rollout needs, including resources, storage, networking and the underlying platform where applicable. DNS, time synchronisation, addressing and required external access are documented. Firewall dependencies are reviewed with their owner so that the installation is not completed by temporarily opening broad access and forgetting to close it.
Management network access needs a recovery path and a normal path. We establish how administrators will reach the platform during an incident and which services that access depends on. This includes the effect of identity or network failures that could otherwise prevent the team from using the very tool needed to investigate them.
A useful starting point
Not sure where to start?
Bring the requirement. We will help you define the engineering work.
Protect administrative and device access
The platform’s administrator roles and authentication arrangements are agreed with the customer. Routine administration, integration accounts and emergency access should have distinct purposes. We document who may change global settings, onboard devices and execute workflows that affect production equipment.
Device credentials are handled through an approved process and restricted to the access required by the intended functions. We do not embed production secrets in handover documents or public project files. Certificate trust and key lifecycle are included in the rollout plan, because an expired or incorrectly trusted certificate can disrupt management long after the initial installation has been accepted.
Different environments. The same care.

your network supports.
Finance, banking and the wider private sector. We start with the systems and people that depend on your connections.

Financial-market services ↗Offices & multi-site teams
Reliable access between people, workplaces and business applications.
Office network design ↗Data centres & cloud
Network boundaries, workload connections and operational ownership.
Data centre networks ↗Establish the site hierarchy and baseline settings
The site structure should reflect the way engineers and service owners understand the estate. Buildings, floors and network areas are named consistently, with the relevant addresses and shared services assigned deliberately. We avoid creating a hierarchy merely to reproduce an old spreadsheet if it obscures the actual support duties.
Baseline settings include the agreed management and telemetry services, access controls and integration endpoints. We record which values are inherited and which have site-specific exceptions. This creates a clear starting point for later discovery, provisioning and policy work, reducing the risk that an automation task applies an inappropriate global setting to a special site.
Onboard a representative pilot
Initial onboarding uses a controlled device set with known credentials and a documented baseline. We check inventory, reachability and the functions required for acceptance. A discovered device is not automatically ready for every management workflow, so setup, software and telemetry capabilities are checked separately.
The pilot should include representative roles rather than only the easiest switch to connect. Findings may expose access-list restrictions, unsupported releases or an incomplete site model. These are resolved before onboarding the wider estate. The platform should not become a repository of partially managed devices whose status nobody trusts.
Verify backup and operational readiness
We configure the supported backup arrangements and check that the required data can be protected. Recovery prerequisites, compatible targets and access to the backup location are documented. A successful backup job is useful evidence. But an actual recovery test remains a separate acceptance activity where the customer requires recoverability to be proven.
The operating team receives admin procedures, monitoring duties and a record of known limitations. We test an agreed management workflow and the response to representative failures without unnecessarily disrupting production. External integrations are checked with their owners so that alerts and change records reach the systems expected to use them.
Hand over a platform with clear boundaries
The delivery package identifies what was installed, what was tested and what remains outside the initial scope. Future onboarding, configuration templates and Assurance can follow as controlled stages. We do not treat unfinished integrations as completed simply because the platform dashboard loads.
MCI’s Cisco network services can support a new rollout, a replacement installation or remediation of an incomplete rollout. Provide the intended outcomes and estate profile to define the required preparation. A good rollout leaves your team able to operate the platform safely and understand how it will be maintained.
