ICE market data connectivity needs a clear relationship between the data service you use, its delivery arrangement and the network inside your organisation. MCI supports clients with the Cisco-side design, integration and operational work around that relationship. We help the client and provider teams coordinate their respective responsibilities so that a new or changing connection can be tested against a real business requirement.
Our engineers work with ICE on a daily basis on behalf of clients using its market-data services. This describes our client-side engineering activity; it does not imply ICE is an MCI customer, an official partner or an endorser of our services.
The whole path
Understand how sites, providers, cloud networks and security controls fit together.
Resilience that can be tested
Separate a second circuit from genuine end-to-end service resilience.
Provider coordination
Keep addressing, routing and escalation ownership clear across organisations.
Identify the delivery service, not just the provider name
ICE offers several forms of connectivity and data delivery, including ICE Global Network and consolidated-feed services. The subscribed product and delivery specification determine what the client network needs to support.
We therefore establish the actual service before discussing interfaces, routes or receivers. A reference to an ICE connection is not enough to distinguish a network handoff from an application or feed-delivery requirement.
The client retains responsibility for the appropriate agreements and entitlements. Network integration does not create permission to use or redistribute data, and the engineering scope should not blur that commercial boundary.

Join the provider handoff to the receiving environment
The project identifies where the delivered service enters the client’s infrastructure and which systems need to use it. That may involve a data centre, an office, a hosted environment or a combination defined by the service.
We review the network paths, addressing and security controls between the handoff and the receiving applications. Each dependency needs an owner so the connection is not held up by a missing change in a system outside the network team’s control.
Where the provider supplies managed components, their role remains explicit. Client-side engineering should not assume authority to modify provider equipment or take responsibility for a service governed by another agreement.
A useful starting point
Not sure where to start?
Bring the requirement. We will help you define the engineering work.
Validate the service the application actually consumes
A connected interface is an early check, not the complete acceptance result. We coordinate with the application owner to establish which exchange demonstrates useful data access and what evidence is needed.
The delivery method may involve different transport and application requirements depending on the product. We follow the current specification rather than assume that all ICE data services use one feed format or one multicast arrangement.
Tests should distinguish connectivity from application behaviour and entitlement issues. That distinction helps the right team act when the network path is available but the intended data is not yet usable.
Different environments. The same care.
Built around the work
your network supports.
Finance, banking and the wider private sector. We start with the systems and people that depend on your connections.

Market-data paths, routing and provider coordination on clients’ behalf.
Financial-market services ↗Offices & multi-site teams
Reliable access between people, workplaces and business applications.
Office network design ↗Data centres & cloud
Network boundaries, workload connections and operational ownership.
Data centre networks ↗Plan changes without losing the existing service
A new receiver, facility move or network refresh can alter the path between the provider and the application. We identify the effect on the existing service before scheduling changes.
The plan includes the required provider coordination, client approvals and a recovery decision. If a temporary arrangement is necessary, its limitations and removal conditions are documented rather than left for someone to discover later.
For a wider site or data-centre transition, network migration services can coordinate the surrounding work. The ICE-related boundary remains a specific dependency within that larger plan, with its own owners and acceptance evidence.
Keep support records useful after installation
An operational record should identify the subscribed service, technical contacts and the client’s relevant connection details. It also needs to show where sensitive specifications are held and who is authorised to access them.
During an incident, we help assemble observations that distinguish a client-network issue from a provider or application concern. Where the evidence is incomplete, the report identifies the next useful test instead of assigning blame on the basis of an unfamiliar external boundary.
For organisations using several market-data providers, financial-market connectivity provides the broader architecture and support discussion. Provider-specific records remain important even when common Cisco infrastructure carries more than one service.
ICE connectivity questions
Can you coordinate with our ICE contacts?
Yes, where the client has authorised that coordination and the engagement includes it. We agree technical roles and communication routes. The client’s contractual and entitlement responsibilities remain separate from the network engineering work performed on its behalf.
Does this include supplying an ICE Global Network service?
Not by implication. This page offers client-side planning, integration and support. Availability, commercial terms and provider-managed delivery need to be confirmed with ICE or the relevant authorised supplier before the engineering plan can rely on them.
Can you investigate missing or delayed data?
We can assess the network contribution and coordinate evidence with the application and provider teams. A symptom at the receiving application does not identify its cause automatically. Where packet analysis is appropriate, collection and handling are agreed in advance.
How do we start a review?
Use our contact page to describe the ICE service, receiving environment and change or incident you need help with. A high-level account is enough initially. Detailed feed specifications, captures and access information should follow only through an approved secure route.
